Mike, a very good point about the track cleaning, a small shovel is an essential part of the tool kit for our working events in the UK!

I've never seen a U model D4 with the overhead cable Dozer set up before. Was that unit mounted on an earlier model D4 and then Installed on the present machine you have? Very unique. Love the looks of it. Keep it "Pushing" dirt.👍

I bought a D4 7U in 1973 that had a LeT overhead cable blade rig on it. It had been used to push coal from under a trestle where they opened the bottom of coal cars and just let the coal fall through the crossties. I was told that it had been bought new by the power company some time between 1948 and 1950. I assume it came with that blade rig but I am not sure.
