As a request I’m posting this on behalf of a mutual friend on the East coast.

Phil was a little known but a life time cat collector and despite suffering Multiple Sclerosis at a young age was wheelchair bound for most of his life.
He never let it stop his enthusiasm for tractors!
You may have seen him at some of the events as he was always present at the cat shows and attended as many as he possibly could.
Always willing to lend a hand with anyone he could.

Phil was in hospice care at the time and passed peacefully with his family today at 3 am.

For Phil's passing!
I met him many years ago when I was first getting into CAT's verses John Deere's. He was at a Show in Illinois with a CAT TEN that I was looking at. We got to talking about CAT's and many stories of History were passed that day! I'll always remember him telling me about a HOLT 45 that his Dad bought at a Peoria junkyard during a World War 2 Scrap Drive. He tinkered with it, started it up, then drove it home! He told me that tractor is still in his collection!
May He Rest in Peace!

Testimonials

"I also joined a year ago. had been on here a couple of times as a non-member and found the info very helpful so I got a one year subscription (not very expensive at all) to try it out. I really like all the resources on here so I just got a three year. I think its a very small price for what you can get out of this site."
