I was wondering if any members were local to central B.C. and where they source their parts from? I own a RD4 4G1216W, a D4 5T449W and a Traxcavator 35C4321 with a motor from a 7u. all machines require various repairs. Thanks in advance.

One place to look is the Cat dealer. They still do carry some parts for these older machines. A parts catalog for your serial number range will provide you with part numbers that you can send to the dealer for pricing and availability. Machinerytrader.com is another place where you can look up old part numbers. The minimum part number lookup requires a digit, a letter, and then 4 or 5 digits. If the parts catalog shows a part number without the minimums, substitute a zero in for the missing numbers e.g. L-496 becomes 0L00496. Search both to be sure
