Hello all,
I’m trying to find the steering clutch stub shaft for my 96J D-5. I was curious if any of you have recommendations on aftermarket suppliers? There are several on the web, but the country of origin is not provided in the description. I did see one sourced out of Italy but was currently out of stock. I have concerns with anything out of India, China etc. Caterpillar has discontinued this item so the choices are getting slimmer. Thanks for any advice…

I forgot to share Dayton Tractor? Dayton, Washington?
They advertise in the Growers Guide as a full service repair for Caterpillar. Quite a few D5s and D6s up there.

As a new resident of east Washington I had Dayton Tractor do some work on my AG6 and yes they work on a lot of D5s D6Ds andD6Cs nice people and between them years of working on and using Cats. 17afarmer
