Steiner tractor is where I get mine. Get a kit for John Deere 70, 80, 720, 730, 820, or 830 starting engine.

Angelo, I got my D4 starting carburetor, Zenith TU-4C (103675) rebuild kit from carburetor doctor in Owasso, OK. Phone (888) 664-6462 e-mail; carbdoc.com Rusty has replacement floats also.

Best luck with your search, George

The only one that I have ever purchased was via Amazon Marketplace. If I ever need to purchase another one, I would probably go a different route. The kit was okay, but between the extra cost compared to others and I think I had to wait 7-10 days for mine to arrive. That is the price I paid for being lazy, while ordering other items from there.

The majority of the time, I have gotten by just giving the carb a great cleaning. The "Bullseye" gasket is usually the only item I needed, and those I bought from CAT for around $1.50 each.

Testimonials

"I also joined a year ago. had been on here a couple of times as a non-member and found the info very helpful so I got a one year subscription (not very expensive at all) to try it out. I really like all the resources on here so I just got a three year. I think its a very small price for what you can get out of this site."
