I have some old CAT parts in boxes that I do not know what they fit. Anybody out there know what 5F3923, 5F3924, fit?

They are bearings, no details as to where they are used.

I'm still looking for the use/location of these bearings. I looked through my CAT microfiche files and they just say "Bearing". I"m sure they're engine bearings but which engine or engines they fit is the question.

Try giving Florin Tractor a call as they list both for sale.
They should be able to identify the application.

They fit 2H7911 to 8966 3cyl D6, 9J6275 to 6424 D8800 power unit, and 5E9940 to 9974 D6600 power unit.
These would be precision bearings, no shims.
5F3922 is front main
5F3923 is intermediate main
5F3924 is rear main

This is all from 1961 NPR

Testimonials

"I also joined a year ago. had been on here a couple of times as a non-member and found the info very helpful so I got a one year subscription (not very expensive at all) to try it out. I really like all the resources on here so I just got a three year. I think its a very small price for what you can get out of this site."
