Seems like there should be a letter in place of the second number.
I've had some luck in the past rubbing chalk on the numbers and then gently wiping or blowing the chalk off.
It highlights the numbers just enough sometimes
Could be:
1H8939 Screw
1Q8939 Hose Assem.
1R8939 Bearing
1V8939 Tube Assem.
1W8939 Air Compressor Gov.
wonder if its not actuall a cat # could it be berco ?
and after that # sealed is is the casting will have to look again
I am wondering if that number is a casting number or a date code, often called a "numeral cod", where the numbers so something about the manufacturing date but I cannot remember what that is right now.
