Can anyone recommend a source for an older style cultivator shank? I tried Wasco and they showed a part # but they don't have them anymore.

It's 15" +/- from top to bottom.

I wonder if Domries in Madera, CA could hook you up. Isn't that called a "Danish" tine?

That is a danish tine. Call Bryan Equipment in Gonzales CA. Ask for Alan. He will have them. I also think our Deere dealer has them.

try your nearby bareco stockist eh bare and co supply a lot of that sort of stuff. so do asp products. any good engineering shop or blacksmith should be able to fashion you some out of plain flat spring steel bar. the art is in tempering the steel after shaping

I dont think that style shovel is used on that single shank, should be single narrow shovel without the sweeps.

Thank you all! I'll start calling.

As to whether the sweep is correct, it's what came with the cultivator. Of course, no brand name or model number to be found.

I think any dealer that sells "Perfecta" tillage equipment would have similar as well. You can buy all types of sweeps or points from most farm equipment dealers. Good luck in your search. JM

Testimonials

"I also joined a year ago. had been on here a couple of times as a non-member and found the info very helpful so I got a one year subscription (not very expensive at all) to try it out. I really like all the resources on here so I just got a three year. I think its a very small price for what you can get out of this site."
