I attended the Oregon House Vintage Tractor Days in Northern California this weekend. There was approximately 150 tractors. I was very surprised to have the only Caterpillar in attendance (other than the host had a TEN). It was a very nice show and beautiful grounds. They had tractor drives, which I could not go on because they were on the paved county roads, and also had games. Everyone had a good time and I had a lot of interest in the Twenty Two. I took a few pictures, but got busy (B.S.ing) and forgot to take more.

I forgot to take many pictures, too! It didn't help that my kids took my camera and filled it with a couple of videos.

It was nice meeting you and learning about your projects.

I took my Farmall Super A (that I've spent the last couple of months frantically resealing and repainting) and my Case VAO, along with my two teenagers and two dogs. It's one of the best shows around, and one that we never miss. There are games and tractor drives both days, and trophies for the winners. There are things to do all day long, and a fantastic dinner. The setting is really beautiful. The kids have so much fun, my daughter wanted to spend her 17th birthday there on Saturday.

Here's my Farmall Super A

My daughter about to do the chain coil - coil a chain into as tight a circle as you can:

The token Cat (really nice!!):

Here's the video about the Tractor Days from last year:

And I got news via my iPhone while I was there.... AUD passed with a 97!!!

It was nice meeting you too. I'm sorry, for the life of me I cannot remember your first name. You were talking to my dad most of the time, I'm Andy, the owner of the "token Cat". We are trying to get more involved with the old tractor scene. My wife was so impressed by you and your children and all you have done, she is now wanting to restore an old tractor. Anyway, hopefully next year we can see some more Yellow crawlers.

Testimonials

"I also joined a year ago. had been on here a couple of times as a non-member and found the info very helpful so I got a one year subscription (not very expensive at all) to try it out. I really like all the resources on here so I just got a three year. I think its a very small price for what you can get out of this site."
