anyone know of a site where you can look at service and part manuals for free? If not it would be a nice addition to this sight if every would scan their manuals, just a thought, thanks

With CAT copyright laws I doubt you'd ever see those manuals here, when they are producing licensed reprints for $50-$150 dollars. I personally think very highly of companies that DO put part lists and manuals into a on-line access. Many other companies do that.

This is the best site for Cat parts book scans. There are good people on here that are constantly posting scans of parts book pages. If these were all saved and archived in a searchable database there would be several thousand pages. As things stand now I understand they must be deleted. We have talked about this need to archive for years but nothing seems to happen.

Testimonials

"I also joined a year ago. had been on here a couple of times as a non-member and found the info very helpful so I got a one year subscription (not very expensive at all) to try it out. I really like all the resources on here so I just got a three year. I think its a very small price for what you can get out of this site."
