I would say no, it will not fit. You need a unit from a D4 or D6, "U" model.
Most recent fuel transfer pump group is a Cat #5F6607 or a part #8M9758 but I don't have access to the latest interchange numbers"

There is some confusion on whether CAT lift pump 5F6607 and CAT aftermarket 8M9758 are same.

Not needing one but wanted to ask.

Here is what I show for fits.....I only looked up the 955 12A1-12A8418 and it goes back to a 5F6607.

Probably the same as a bunch of other models but the fuel line inlet changes orientation and can be interchanged.
