Here is some film that was shot by a Vista museum member of the Holt Hillside Harvester that belongs to the museum. This was in the 1980's when this was filmed. At some point in the late 80's the Harvester was repainted to keep it preserved since the museum had no building to store it in at the time.

That's fantastic! Is the combine still operational? That machine is simalar to the one I got my parts engine from, it's neat to see how they looked all in one piece.
Thanks for posting.

The Harvester is not operational, only because it had not run since since they had stop farming the field we use to harvest with it 20 years or so ago. We are farming the field again, but all the people that ran the Harvester are no longer around. The engine is very very tired and I am having spare part being rebuilt so that we can get the engine running. Once the engine is running we will move on to the moving parts and then replace the drapers. The harvester is 100 years old this year.
