While driving through a somewhat "shady-looking" area, I spotted this old Cat & decided to take some pics. They are clearing out some ghetto-housing and this was the machine that did the deed!!! It is still doing some good work these days & is owned by an excavating company.

It looks like quite the machine and apparently is a D6C. As the proud owner of two D4 5T machines, I am a bit jealous. The cab is good & solid, although missing some glass, & the winch needs a new cable. Wish I had a Cat like this!!!

We had a couple of those old D6C,hated those pedals for tilting the blade.They were a real pain in the backside to try and do any kind of fine grading.Between trying to steer and tilt the blade both at the same time really gave your left foot a work out.
