Thanks G Mom for the great post! Others here might have seen most of the options then available, but many like the front mounted broom were totally new to me! I am always impressed with the degree of progress they achieved way back then. The fact that most of these attachments are so rare, I was not aware of a lot of them.

Also, I thought it interesting that the late 40 - 50s tractors have kept there value as far as $ cost in today's market i.e. D8 2Us for $5000 to $10,000. That does not hold for the Cat 60s, going for under $1000. I wish we could buy them for that today! I know, the value of the Dollar is nowhere near the value of a Dollar back in the day but the prices are nearly the same as todays if you don't take that into account.
