Im pretty sure the previos owner has the wrong grade of oil in, When it gets hot it starts leaking oil out of the rear main oil seal and a few other spots. I want to drop it out tommorow and change it to the proper grade, what should i put in her? Thanks. Also its 16 quarts right? in a D4 7U

Crankcase capacity is 5 gals (20 qts), 15W40 is fine, or straight 30 if you'd like. Canada gets cold, so I'd opt for the 15W40. Someone here suggested 15W30 in the really cold climes. Good luck.

Thanks, i think i will go 15-40 for now, i was thinking 0-40 for winter? whats your thoughts? The coldest i will probibly run it is -20*C
