Sorry to bug you with something I should already know.
I am wanting to change the engine lube oil and filters.
Serial of tractor is 9U26761 has the D318 engine with the nuts with the slots on the top of the oil filter housing.
I think I have some new old stock filters but the boxes they came in are unreadable.
Don't really want to use an old filter anyway.
Could anyone tell me the numbers for the cartridges.
I think I read somewhere it holds about 22 quarts, does this sound right.
Crawler is working great by the way.
Thanks Chris

22 quarts is correct.
There are a bunch of previous Cat #'s for the oil filter but the current # is a Cat 1R0659 or a Wix 51161.

Local heavy equipment dealer has lots of the filters in stock.
I am starting to like having this new equipment.
My other Cats are from the 30s anda bit harder to get parts for.

Picked up the filters on the way home.
Still pleased that they were "in stock"
This weekend if the weather is okay I will change out some more fluids.
I went with a friend and looked at a carcass of a D69U this evening.
Not much left of it. Frame, engine short block and hardnose and a pretty good sprocket.
Already have a couple spare sprockets.
