I work for Ohio Cat and the owner is very generous to many non-charitable organizations. He has an agreement with the HCEA in Bowling Green, Ohio that if they raise half for a new building he with donate the other half. He also has a company museum located at our Broadview Heights location.
Instead of showing off his "charitable contributions" Ken Taylor, owner of Ohio CAnT, needs "clean house" at his Perrysburg location, almost ALL the knowledgeable staff have left because "someone" in charge there has had "issues" with the staff and cannot put up with the conflicts. Only one or two people are left there from a about a fifteen-year loss of great knowledgeable employees that have went to other local dealerships. Plus, the parts department is like a funeral parlor! they used to have all kinds of "supply" items and parts available at your reach when you walked in instead of trying to think of the part number you need or "hay I need or could use this item" there on display. Just a poor dealership in my opinion. Used to be most parts were there the next day, now it's usually two to three days out and you're lucky if you get the right part.
Cat has been pushing all this equality employment personnel bs in the workplace too, including recognizing "gay pride day" [disturbing] https://youtu.be/d15byhEE8Kc, why not focus more on equipment and making it simpler to work on instead! Notice Cat Inc deleted all the "disapproved" comments about this subject. Sad, Benjamin Holt and Daniel Best would be rolling in their graves if they saw this!
Cats Forever
What will Cat do next, hire Dylan Mulvaney??
When wokeism wins over customer service everyone loses.
