I have a couple No44 hydraulic units and I want to get the right parts manuals etc. They are both on late D4 U series. I don't know if they are original to those tractors though. I can't find serial numbers on them. One has a patent plaque (pic) in the location where I expected to find the serial number.

Any help on how to identify these would be appreciated.

Paul.

The serial # on the 44 on my D2 is on the right rear face of the unit as I'm sitting in the operator's seat, so on the control side between the 44 and the tractor's radiator. If there isn't a tag there, see if the number is stamped into that surface between two rivet holes

Hi Haus, I have a No. 44 hydraulic control OMI for sale. It is on page 2 of the For Sale/Wanted section. I scanned and submitted it to the library so it can be seen there. This is inside of the back cover. Send me a PM.
