Currently going through my pump on a 6W20420 hydraulic unit and was wondering if the vanes are designed to be flipped for another wear face. I.e. can the side of the vane facing inward be flipped to run against the cam ring? Im asking because I couldn't find a picture of what the vane looks like new, but the inside vane face has the profile mentioned in the manual with one side chamfered. Thanks

Yes, vanes can be reversed. Beveled edge needs to be trailing pump rotation on the #44.

That's what I had assumed but wanted to be sure before it went back together. Thank you for the help!
