Hi Jeremy, I'm pretty sure there is no differential in your grader. They take a pretty big acreage to turn without the leaning front end. Sorry I can't be more help.

Hi, Jeremy Williams.
I think you will find that Bruce P. is right - NO differential. At the time, it was the best way to get the most traction out of a tandem drive. Your model may not have the leaning front wheels but they were fitted to later machines to help overcome the lack of a differential and also to help cope with side loads when working the grader under heavy side loads.
Just my 0.02.
What model and s/n is the machine. My 8G1 parts book shows them starting out without differential then converted to differential then 8G296-up standard with differential.
Both of my 11's are straight spool no diff. So is my 10 as well
Thanks for the info everyone. My grader is a 6K , and the serial number is around 1000 I believe. It does have the leaning front wheels also, which does help turn.
Thanks,
Jeremy
I don't have a Parts Book on the 6K's. Does anyone know if all the series is non-differential?
I do not have my parts books here, but if I remember there was a field change kit to install a differential in the Auto Patrols if you wanted. The back ends of the ones I have been in have all be solid.

OK, thanks. Looks like I may have misinterpreted the parts book. Appears standard was straight axle but there were two field kits depending on axle size. Not a case of across the board change. The field kit does not state that it is a field change and not under an attachment heading. I would imagine the 6K's are the same situation.
