A great pic of twenty 96V's on the net. They are actually up for rent by Delta in the Netherlands so I didn't put the precise details here since it may mistakently be construed as an advert but more importanly here are the interesting tech details and the hyd setup details for our 9G/H fans. Photo credit to Delta Machinery, Netherlands.

Description: Twenty 1985 Caterpillar 594H S/N# 96V sideboom / pipelayers. All units are frame up rebuilds or fully repaired with servo controlled wet deck conversions, equipped with Braden - Paccar winches with 2 speed Bosch Rexroth hydr. motors, Kawasaki hydr. main pumps, Pat Kruger LML safe load system, Certified ROPS & FOPS fitted, all work orders and pictures of repairs & hydr. conversion available upon request. Tractor has D353 engine 410HP, 3 speed power-shift transmission and drawbar.

Below:
These are the rebuilds by Delta. (Not an advert – interesting tech details FYI.) Ground-up rebuilds of 594’s they re-badge as EPE594’s. Repowered with C13 ACERT Tier111A engines rated at 440hp. The transmission has been replaced with hydrostatic drive comprising 2xLinde HPR 105-2 variable displacement self regulating axial piston-type main pumps. Wet deck winches like the 594H above with 95 tons lifting capacity. 8 roller track frames. They sure do a nice job of the conversion.

Hi, OZPHIL2.
Nice iron. Thanks for sharing.

BTW, I think you may be able to get yourself awake in the mornings and be comfortable during your middle-of-the-day phone calls. I think I have found your coffee maker and your camp chair.

Just my 0.02.

Hi Deas,
Excellent, you found them, thanks. Caffeine supply is assured, good news. I will email you in early April re my arrival date and what I’ll need to pickup enroute.
Cheers

Testimonials

"I also joined a year ago. had been on here a couple of times as a non-member and found the info very helpful so I got a one year subscription (not very expensive at all) to try it out. I really like all the resources on here so I just got a three year. I think its a very small price for what you can get out of this site."
