Hi guys my name is Caleb and just recently joined the board. I'm 24 years old and have grown up around antique tractors all my life.... My dad is a rumely oilpull collector. I always liked crawler tractors better than wheel tractors but just never could twist off of hotrods and buy old and slow😛. at this past years Pawnee show i met Scott (Kuhns-z?) through my dad and he let me at the controls of his sixty and that was all it took to finally catch the bug.
Ive been building my third boat so i havent had the time to start on any of my crawlers but as soon as the boats done ive got plenty of season's of tractor restorastions ahead!😄
I traded my uncle out of a diesel fifty # 1e970
acquired a couple of D44g's for less than scrap prices. one's pretty slick the other is parts.
and just last week i finally got one that ive really been after; a sixty. And its a Best to boot #1366a

Welcome to the board and to ACMOC. We need all the young folks we can get. Tell your dad that anybody that collects Rumleys isn't all bad either.

Good Luck

Yelloiron:

Would you ask your dad if he would know of a source for some 1929 Rumely #3 Combine parts.

I need the main shaft that connects the head to the combine. This is a round pipe (15' long) with some cast fingers (3' long) attached to it. Other than that this is a running unit with all the decals still in place.

Thanks

Rustrunner- I asked my dad and he said hed have to get my uncle to go and look at the 2 no. 3's we have at our ranch to see if there is a good one there on the spare combine.
He said he's found 4 more sitting on one place in the oklahoma panhandle that are all in fair condition that he wants to get ahold of. Either way shoot me your phone # and he'll give you a call and try and get you fixed up.
You have any other rumely's?

YelloIron:

I sent you a PM with my contact information. Hope to hear from your dad about the #3 combine parts. Have no other Rumely equipment, but would love to have a Rumely 6 to pull the combine.

Rumely's and Cats, one of the best combinations that exist! Can you please post a picture of the combines? Would be nice to have one but I guess shipping would beyond my budget...

Best regards
Marcel
