Not missing, those plugs are for the steering clutch compartment and are usually left out to allow any oil leaking past the seals to drain rather than soak the steering clutches and brake. Plugs are put in when operating in water or mud deep enough to get into steering clutch compartments.
Josh Hallelujah! Thank you, I wonder what I felt up in there It sure felt like a big gear.. Well I am very happy to know that, I am sure I will be doing something With that soon my driver side stick seems to work a lot better without the foot brake than the passenger side, again appreciate the help!

We are a world wide organization of miss fits that like Cat and other rust things. With that world wide thing we now have part of us going the wrong way, with your reference of drivers side. Which also means part of us are standing on our heads. I never have clue which part is right.
Welcome to our little place on the web here. Most any Cat question can be answered from the knowledge here. Some days we do muddy the waters a bunch, but hopefully in the end it is clear. So keep asking until we use terms your understanding.

they are npt 1 1/4. all the threads are sae. and any bungs and fittings are nptt or npts. its a good idea to fit bungs that are drilled and fitted with a small split pin to keep dirt and shit out. particularly wasps. the muddies like holes like that to call home. if your not in the states or canada you''l have to get some from a hydrualics joint. the local hardware/ plumbing supplies wont carry npt and will look at you funny if you ask for it.
if you havent already make sure to keep tins over the exhuasts to keep the rain out these pilot start diesels run the pilot engine exhuast through the intake for the main so it works like a big glow plug. and if it get rusty as its only thin you'll dust the main very quickly and wont know about it. it just some thing to check when you have that boroscope camera. proper rain traps are available from the dealers.

you say it turns one side better than the other with out the brake just pulling on the clutch. the clutch releases the drive the brake locks the track making it turn.
there supposed to work in pairs you pull the steer clutch and apply brake at the same time. there probably a little stuck stand on em hard a few times see if it improves. some tractors only turn one way most of there lives and wear more on that side particularly farm tractors. its a real issue with wheeled tractors so much so many farmers removed the bar to lock the pedals together for safety. crawlers not so much but it still happens.
there probably out of adjustment too.

Didn't we go through this recently about plugs and OM pointed out they are not NPT but UNF? From memory the thread was 2" x 12TPI.
If the hole measures up at 1-1/4" then it definitely isn't 1-1/4 NPT
Thats for the large drain plugs, engine oil pan, clutch housing, transmission.
