I was just talking to a nice guy here in Australia, who is looking for a new set of points for a Bosch MJK magneto, can anyone suggest a reliable source?
Thanks
Mike

I have purchased magneto parts from Brillman Company, they have a good online store interface that's easy to navigate.

Thanks for that info D8Dude, I had forgotten about them, I've bought sparkplug wire, and brass fittings from them about 10 years ago, they did have a good range of parts, I wasn't aware they sold things like points too, I'll check them out.

These points were probably on the shelf at Florin Tractor Parts, till they closed dowm, a big loss to us all there.

I haven't checked that they have points, I imagine they would have, I've bought other mag parts from them. I've been happy with the quality of their parts and they package them well for the mail. I bought a mag cap from them not that long ago.

It's sad to think of all the parts that would've gone in the bin.

"Ianoz" kindly sent me a fleabay link to Branson Enterprises, they list a tune up kit with points and condensor for the MJK for $52 plus shipping, so it looks like the search is over.

My 82 year young magneto repair guy here in Australia needed them, but the shipping will not be cheap, around $25.
Thanks for your help

I have used Brillman for all my ignition, wire, loom, etc. for many years. They have the best products, best price most often and excellent customer service. I bought a magneto wire set for my D8. They were too short to fit in the factory wire loom. I called them and gave them the dimensions and they sent new ones and updated their records. I just got a cap gasket, points, condenser and rotor for the MJK mag and they were spot on perfect.

That is good to know Michael Crowe, thanks for the update, I downloaded the Brillman catalog a few days ago, just haven't had the time yet to go through it properly yet, but I remember being impressed with the products I bought from them years ago, I still have some of the spark plug wire here, but need to buy more.
Thanks
