Hello One and All,

Just wanted to introduce myself. I just bought my first piece of heavy equipment last week, a 1968 922B, SN94A3928. I believe it has the original cat engine it was born with. I purchased this machine from a local dealer "as is" but they did enough basic re-furb to consider it "work ready". We shall see. Anyway, I have been immersed in the manuals and these here threads ever since and am eager to learn all I can cram into my bargain-basement brain. Attached are some pics taken from my backyard. Enjoy- and pleased to make your acquaintance.

Matt

It looks like you should be able to tidy up your backyard in no time.

Congrats on your new toy! We just got one this weekend as well. Yours is a good bit newer than ours and if I remember correctly, yours would be one of the last ones built. Hard to believe so many of these 40+ year old machines still out there looking good and working! Ours is topless and 94A12??. These things sure were built too last!

Regards, Mark

Oh about 6 or 7 years. What's that third hydraulic valve for in the cab? We had one like that in a 930 we had 8 years ago and it was for the quick coupler

Hey that's great, I imagine I will have alot of questions as I get to working on this fellow. Unfortunately, I did not get any history on prior owners or use on this one, so I don't know the deal with the add-on valve system. I'm guessing maybe at one time someone had a 4 in 1 on it? Anyway, its a matter of curiosity for me too, because I am wondering if I should get around to removing it or leaving it be. I'm not sure if it could lead to problems by having this extra gear clinging around for no particular use.

First order of bidness though is seeing about a low fuel pressure issue. Read a bunch of old threads on that here and will be looking into that some time next week.
