Hello, new member here. I recently became the owner of a 1949 D4. I think this should be a good project for my son and I. If there are any tips or tricks I should be aware of, any info is appreciated. Thank you.
Welcome Kelly: Did you hire a slide back truck or have your "landlord" sky crane it back to town?
That one should be pretty straight forward. Figure out if the main engine will turn freely first; Everything else seemed to check out well when I was out kicking tracks. Glad you got it home. Juiceman.

Yes, Seyser: Some juicy bits on that one. From all indicators it should be an easy runner when I took a gander at it. Kelly should be happy with his "first" machine. It appeared too good to knock in the head. JM
