Went on a road trip half way to Canada, traded some wooden nickels to a random goat roper on the side of the road, and came home with a D2. :noidea:

I've been searching/researching, then working my way around it lubing, adjusting, changing fluids/filters, etc. so there's a good base line to go off of.

Ended up meeting a few of you up north and appreciate the hospitality. Got to see some nice machines and learned quite a bit.

The only play time so far has been after dark, so the pics are limited. Loving every minute of the adventure so far.

Very nice looking machine. If it has a Hyster winch out back I will be absolutely green with envy!

And that is a sweet brush guard/cage on that unit... is that a Cat product, does anyone know?

Thanks. Yep, it has a winch on the back. I believe the canopy was installed by Zeigler at the same time as the winch and blade (still looking for the books/receipts).

Finally got some day time play time..

DP, glad you enjoyed your visit, it was nice meeting you and putting another face to a bb handle. Good to see you getting a chance to play - um - I mean "work" a bit with the new D2. It looks like you're doing a good job with it, I don't see as many roller coaster tracks in that dirt as there would be if I was having a go at it, lol.:bounce:

I better get my butt out to the man cave and find them books. Did you text me your mailing address? I have not seen it. I bet the ride home behind your Dodge was the fastest that machine has ever went. I thought about it the other day when I was in Grand Maris and never remember when at home. Have not picked up a D4 yet but still looking. I am still a bit lonesome missing Little Firecat.

Hmmmmm....

It looks like "The North Woods Cat Collection" inventory has changed. I would never have guessed you would sell that one Roger. Glad I had the chance to get my "prints" on it at Edgerton! You will have to adjust your list at the bottom of your posts because what it says there "Ain't So". Also, go easy on "upsetting" your other machines because the "rescue cat" is no longer in the litter!

Jan

Heh, good thing it's a wide pic that's not zoomed in. There's more of a learning curve than I imagined for getting a smooth finished grade.

Text sent.

When the wind picked up, the turbo was singin' and the Cummins got a bit thirsty.
