My D2 had one bad oil cooler line with the other one not far behind. I searched the web high and low, I did find two used ones for $135 plus shipping, but I stopped in at a local hydraulic shop that makes metal lines and had them take a look.
The gauge of the tubing is twice as thick as the original parts. It was about $47 each including tax for the new ones. I still need to braze the ends on them, and sandblast and paint. So I figure the price will be about the same when I get the finished product, but I just couldn't see buying used that might not have much less rust than the ones I took off.
They left one of the new tubes a little long so I have to trim it to fit before I put the end on. If anyone is interested I may make a few more of them...
