Nice straight tractor. Thanks for sharing.
You have a wonderful day. Best wishes. Deas Plant.
Hi, Strickl.
Great stuff and a nice catch. From around 10,000 miles away, it looks pretty straight too. I LIKE the teeth welded to the corner tips on the blade. Thanks for sharing.
Just my 0.02.
Nice tractor, looks like the bonnet and dash have had the wings clipped to look more like a 14A.

Wombat,
You know I looked closely at that firewall and saw that it was different from the 13A I run all the time that belongs to the Antique Gas and Steam Engine museum in Vista CA. I thought maybe they changed things on the later models. Ours is a 1954 I think. Anyway, good observation. It is true, you can't see off them very well, particularly on the opposite side from the operator's seat.

Hey Team,
It was a very popular conversion in California. I believe Peterson started converting older Elephant Ear Dashes to 14-a dash and hood conversions for operator visibility. I've always heard it referred to as a Peterson Conversion Dash...
Wouldn't mind that tractor in our collection, looks good.

try adding about a gallon of rislone to the engine oil, and then work the snot out of it, chances are it never got warmed up properly or idled around some and carboned up the rings. also make sure it is coming up to temp, change thermostats if you have to, ideally it should run about 185 f.
