OK Glen, here's the manufacturers specs of the DD9G with 9C blade. To add to the details Old Magnet has given us, we could cross-check the weight of the DD9G version of a 66A fitted with 9C (the quad lead-unit) if we deduct the bare weight of a bare 66A D9G tractor from the gross of a quad-unit to establish the weight of the lead unit, taking into account also any extra weight added by way of extra equipment required for the dual setup to each tractor.

Look forward to being able to help you out with another pair of boots on the ground as of 15 May. See you then.

Cheers

Phil

Hey Team,

It's a Load.. We will be close to a full load for sure. We can go 22,000lbs on the steer tires, 46,725lbs on the drivers, and 60,000lbs on the rear 16 tire group, for a gross of 128,725. We tare 38,120, with a 90,605lb pay load on this 5 axle set up. 😖hocked: how did I get talked into hauling this thing? Oh yea, I forgot... I'm doing it for everyone to enjoy at the Show... :high5:... and for Walt... :tongue1:

Hey Team,

175,000 plus and then a rops. The back Cat was pretty easy, but the front unit must have been close to 90,000lbs plus. We got it done...No Red Lights at 2 sets of Scales...:faint2:

That's a good thing when the scale lights stay green. That's a lot of traction for pushing. The bowls would boil with a push like that.
