don't know what to call it but it is hooked to the out put end of a t-9 trans then hooks to an old ford rear end it runs my winch for my TRAIL TRACTOR on posted earliern when you pull the lever it slides a gear to ingage another gear to run the chain sprocket thanks Ross

If anyone has any ideas what this might have came off i would really like any suggestions
This little crawler I am re-building was a proto type built for the forest service from any parts they could come up with back in the late 30's I know it is not a CAT but I really need help on this. I finnished my D-2 last year and sold it now this is my new project. Thanks

I don't recognize any of it but I'm not sure what you are asking? Are you in need of the whole works or parts. What's missing or broken on what you have?

Appears to be a gear reduction unit with some type of dog clutch. Chances of finding that oddball stuff is pretty remote.

You might be better off rebuilding what you have. You have the housing, all the internal parts should be there for patterns. Gears can be made or substituted for off the shelf components. Bearings should be standard. Shafts are easily made and can be done by a local machine shop.
Have you tried taking it to an Industrial Transmission shop to see what they say? I would start by taking it apart and seeing what's wrong with it inside first.

I just need the housing top half or the whole thing what ever I can find Thanks
