Good morning, ACMOC members. ACMOC magazine is looking for more Then and Now stories for future issues. If you have or know of somebody who has restored an antique Cat and has photos, please let me know. We're looking for copy about the process of restoring the machine, including where it came from, its history of use, what it took to restore it and any other information about the Cat.

Always looking for other story ideas, as well. How would members feel about articles focusing on Cat's part in building the interstate highway system?

Let me know here or email me at [email protected].

Thanks.

I finished a restoration on a best 30 this winter and it will make a good story but I am not a good story writer , just search the discussion section for Moulding's late best 30 restoration and you'll find it .

Paul,
I think some articles about Cats role in building the interstate system would be great. There are still quite a few guys around that had a hand in it. I bet there are lots of good stories that would be great to capture and share. Sure wish I would have had a digital camera back then. Maybe I would have taking some pictures.

We run a D6 9U that worked the toll roads around Chicago. It still purrs like a kitten. Part of Kent's push crew.

Testimonials

"I also joined a year ago. had been on here a couple of times as a non-member and found the info very helpful so I got a one year subscription (not very expensive at all) to try it out. I really like all the resources on here so I just got a three year. I think its a very small price for what you can get out of this site."
