I have a very early Twenty L33. It has a Garwood winch with a shop fabricated mounting but the PTO is Csterpillar (has L with four digit part number cast in the case). What I need to know is the lubrication space for the PTO shared with the transmission space. In other words if I fill the PTO will it affect the fluid level in the transmission? I know you cant tell much from this photo but buried in there is a Caterpillar PTO that provides power to the winch. Thanks for any info.

Thanks for the offer. The next time I'm out in the shop I'll check the part number that is cast in the PTO case. Right now it's about 19 degrees and there is a chance of snow this week end so It may be a while before I can check.

I have a pto on my TEN and it shares the oil from the transmission. I would think the TWENTY would be similar. If it would be separate, you should be able to see the fill and drain plugs on the pto housing.

I checked the PTO yesterday and the part number cast into the case is L2044. From what I can tell the fill plug is at the same level that the plane case cover plug would be at.
