I need to know for sure what size bowl to buy for my 71 d4d. it already has the bottom base with the fins and the lid. I just need the plastic bowl. the outside lip on the finned base, best I can measure, is 8 1/2". I measured the outside lip on the top cover and it was 10 1/2", there is a discolored circle on the bottom of the top cover that looks like where the top of the cone goes. it's approx 4 3/4". I found this one online and it seems to be the closest match to my measurements.

The cat part number should be 1M7250 for x referencing purposes. They are a common size to many applications.

That one will do it. I don't think I ever saw more than a couple different sizes of those Donaldson bowls. The other common size is a lot smaller than that, more like 8" diameter.
D2-5J's, D6-9U's, D318 and D333 power units, 12E-99E grader, 922B & 944A wheel loaders, D330C generator set, DW20 water tanker and a bunch of Jersey cows to take care of in my spare time😄

Testimonials

"I also joined a year ago. had been on here a couple of times as a non-member and found the info very helpful so I got a one year subscription (not very expensive at all) to try it out. I really like all the resources on here so I just got a three year. I think its a very small price for what you can get out of this site."
