Can anyone tell me what year these tractors are? I am considering buying these for parts to restore my 1946 D4.

Thank you in advance! Alan Bateman

Check serial # on second one - more likely to be 7U20653 SPO

The serial number for the second one was incorrect. It is 7U20653SPO. What does this make the machine?

Thank you so much! Will parts from this machine (engine, tracks, etc.) fit the 1946 D4 that we already have?

Transmission and rear end may interchange, but the engines not: 1945 D4 5T that we had had a D4400 engine, and the U-series D4 had the later (D315) 'cross-flow' engine.

Ponies may also interchange.

My advice: Rather try and make one decent tractor from the U-series.
