Need a lead on a D2 Battery Box

In search of a D2 battery box for my new / old gal. I found a guy who used to manufacture them but doesn't have a pattern for a D2 box. Is it the same as a D4 battery box?

Thanks guys. Really enjoying the wealth of knowledge on this site.

The D2 only (late U models) changes to the curve top ventilated model for 6v starting only.

Sorry, no that's not my D2....picture was taken at Tulare a couple of years ago. Don't know whose it is.

IRolla, I do have a rounded batt box like OM has pictured, but I do not have the top or the internal cradle. The bottom is a bit rusty.

For Sale: Reproduction Caterpillar D2, D4, D6 battery box. 14 gauge metal with rounded corners like original. Dimensions are as close as possible. Inner battery brackets are 3/16 gauge metal with rubber mounts & rubber hold down under lid. Norman Quay (937) 585-6475 (OH)[94].

Saw the ad for the battery box by Norman Quay (OH.) in the club rag.
Nice job but it is for the regular style box (with slightly rounded corners) not the version I pictured.
