I know, not Cat related, but while we're waiting for parts for our 1927 Cat 60 (PA1550) restoration project, we're working on another restoration project: Rebuilding a Case Water Wagon for our steam engines.

We're rebuilding a Case Water wagon for our steam engine from the frame up. We acquired a Myers hand pump. We've rebuilt it, but missing some parts for the intake and discharge. We found a 1972 parts book with part numbers. Wondering if there were parts available. Myers made thousands of farm style hand pumps, but this is a transfer pump for the water wagon and can't find anything.

Looks like the Pump is Model R479, R479 1/2 or R479P.

We're missing the hose intake and discharge, from the collar to the hose connections. Part #'s 469, 468, 453, 435A or 547A.

Any help or leads would be greatly appreciated.

Post this on the steam section of smokstak, people can help there. Case pumps are around too. I've seen a few around the last few years sell for $75-$250 depending on condition and luck.

Testimonials

"I also joined a year ago. had been on here a couple of times as a non-member and found the info very helpful so I got a one year subscription (not very expensive at all) to try it out. I really like all the resources on here so I just got a three year. I think its a very small price for what you can get out of this site."
