It’s getting a new set of steering clutches. One side was just about worn out and the right side swelled up from moisture. I didn’t want to have it done, but what’s the point of owning something that doesn’t function properly.
Very nice - new steering is like power steering!
Hi, juiceman.

You have a wonderful day. Best wishes. Deas Plant.
Exactly Deas. I should leave the blade off and swap it to another machine, but then again, I am over thinking things as usual. I think "Breadler" may be the right person to break the new steering in. I will guess it would be ready to use by this fall, so I could ship it to the Dry Creek Ranch and let him shine up the blade face. This is the only machine of "several" here that slobbers when not worked hard.
Hi, juiceman.
"several"???????????? ROFLMAO. C'mon, man, don't be so 'reticent' to tell people how much of the vintage Cat market you have 'cornered'. Pretty much everybody on this BB already knows you have HEEEEEPS anyway.

Yes sir, reporting for duty!!
D5C, D4-7U, D2-5U, D2-5J
Breadler, are we going to need a long staff and red flag on the D-2 so a "big" Cat san see you in the trench?
Like the whip flags, they use in the sand dunes! lol!
D5C, D4-7U, D2-5U, D2-5J
Exactly, or on pickups at the big open pit mines. Remember, D-2 is hard to see when in the trench and "big Cats" are clawing the dirt - cts
