Well I called the ole boy and got him to $6,500 on this D-2 5u. got him to drop a thousand off asking price. It has new steering clutches put in by cat. All around it looks ok. from the pic he sent me. Anyway I will pic her up next week if all goes well. I rebuilt one of these a few years ago from the ground up WHAT a job..... so will be nice to get one that is running and ready to push some dirt and drag some logs.

Nice looking little Cat! I like the look with the old style roll cage. I have the same on my D4 7U. Good Luck & have fun with it.

That's quite an arraignment on the end of the winch cable. 4 cable sliders, 2 choker ends, a pulling ring, and a hook you should not break. You are going to have arms like Popeye after spending much time pulling out that cable with the chokers added. Now you just need an arch above the winch to get the butts of the logs off the ground to keep then cleaner. Nice looking machine. Hope you find it to be all that it looks to be.

Testimonials

"I also joined a year ago. had been on here a couple of times as a non-member and found the info very helpful so I got a one year subscription (not very expensive at all) to try it out. I really like all the resources on here so I just got a three year. I think its a very small price for what you can get out of this site."
