Just got my first cat home on the mountain a few weeks ago and can't wait to fire her up. The hour meter says 562 and since you can barely even feel a ridge on the track bushings and the sprockets look new I'm thinking that number may be right. Looks like this farmer took pretty good care of his stuff too. The right side panel off the engine is missing as well as the hood but since they are just straight panels I figure I can just cut some up. The mag was missing from the pony so I expect it went bad so I have one on it's way. The UPS man has my books and insists I meet him is person before he will give them to me. I am pretty sure the left pivot shaft bearing is wasted as I can see it sitting lower in the bearing housing. Looks like a whole bunch of work to get down to it but it should be well worth the effort. All the fluids look real good so I am hoping it will fire up without to much trouble after I get the pony mag. Of course it needs a good blast/strip and fresh paint but I am pretty tickled so far.
