Hi everybody ,I really enjoy this site! It means alot to me,my grandpa recently just passed october 16 2012.He is well known for his caterpillar parts, dozers, dirt work.He built 2234 ponds, in his lifetime, and bought closeouts of cat parts all his life. The guy would get up at 2:30 in the morning and clean bolts, parts or whatever,he would paint the parts or dip them in cosmoline. Ive been going through several of his buildings trying to grasp what a single man has done,im a very busy person,i mess and tinker on engines ,crawlers, and whatever, and it makes me feel worthless, what he has done in a lifetime!I am eventually going to start selling some of the stuff, but some people would kill for what he has,I just dont know what to do yet.I live in indiana and we have a family business,so im pretty busy, except winter time.I will be asking you guys for info, any help would be very appreciated. Thanks < by the way his name was Carl Dubois.

Regrets for your loss DJ-I'm sure as you run through your Great Grandpa's parts and pieces, you will appreciate all that he put into his collections. No doubt Mr. Dubois would appreciate your intrest in something that obviously meant a great deal to him.
Best to you-
Bernie

Sorry to hear about your Grandpa, sounds like he was a special person for sure, I'm sure you will have no trouble finding a home for his parts, just list numbers with photo's if you are in doubt.
regards
Mike

Testimonials

"I also joined a year ago. had been on here a couple of times as a non-member and found the info very helpful so I got a one year subscription (not very expensive at all) to try it out. I really like all the resources on here so I just got a three year. I think its a very small price for what you can get out of this site."
