After a rebuilt pony motor magneto and several tweaks to the carburetor like removing the choke butterfly plate, I got the diesel engine started for the first time since the CCU slipped last thanksgiving. The repairs to the front cable unit worked! It was rather exciting. Now I can just drive it! It takes out trees and blackberries like nobodies business.

Just finished replacing the Fuel Transfer pump, rebuilding the 24V starter, charging the batteries, and bleeding the injectors! She started on about the 4th or 5th spin of rebuilt starter, not bad for a 1952 beast! Of course, it began to rain, and now everything is too wet to do anything. If I knew all I had to do to get some rain was to fix the dozer, I would have done it months ago! Need the rain here in NE Texas, so can't gripe too much.

I got distracted, but here are some pictures of the fully functional dozer.

There is a pump on the front left side of the engine that runs back to a reservoir and controller that sits to the left of the seat. You can see the two main lines running from the engine in the middle picture.
