G'day all,
Some photos of my D4 for those interested.
Anyone enlighten me on the "S7" above the serial number on the ID plate?
Have found some "army green" under the Cat yellow!!!!
More photos to follow.

Sould be a "U" in front of the S7 for US7th fleet. (Navy issue)

It is serial number 5J6334SP. I always thought that all war time production was painted olive drab. But I never understood if they were based coated in yellow, then olive drab or if after the war all olive drab were repainted to yellow? Is there a manufacturers plat on the blade & lift assembly?

Awesome, my brother has a 7J9332 US7th navy fleet also, but it's its in many pieces throughout our shop, good luck
