My dear bride (Mrs. G) got me two really nice Christmas presents.

1) a new pair of warm socks.
2) the item in the picture.

Serial 12A991 (what year is that? 1957??)

Currently the diesel has a fuel problem – it runs for two or three minutes and dies. It can be restarted after you re-bleed the filter housing. The Pony also has a fuel problem. It has 90% + tracks. It’s generally good condition. I bought it off of craigslist. The socks are really warm and comfortable.

My book states 12A991 as a 1955 model year, first year of production.

Bill Glenn-Good to "see" you! I have to say your pics and posts helped push me over more than one hill.

Nice loader-I hope your D2 doesn't get "bucket envy"

Not sure about your fuel problems-is the housing dry looking for seeps or maybe the intake fuel line has a poor connection or pin hole. If the pumps or injectors don't need bleeding it seems it would be somewhere on the housing can itself...

Sorry not much help, but still good to hear from you-did you take any Christmas shots of the D2?

hello bill ,good to see you back posting again,
the 955c has a d315 same as the d4 .the fuel ? ,it sound like it is not pumping fuel ,runs for few min them stops ,try running it with fuel cap loose ,the breather hole maybe blocked not letting the transfer pump to pull fuel out of the tank, sounds like the transfer pump and filter are ok ? .

anybody good any other ideas ?

Bill,
Welcome back. It sure has been a while. Nice looking machine you got there. Can't wait to see all the pictures of different women on this the way you did with your D2. How is Reggie doing?

Wow!! I got a warm pair of socks for Christmas, but I didn't get no Cat!!
Now I figure if your wife upgraded you from a D2 to a D4 size crawler this year, that means she will have to do a D6 size next year, followed by a D8 the year after. No sense in fooling around with the 3's 5's and 7's, keep the numbers even, but stop at the 8, as the 9's 10's and 11's are way to big to haul around.

Looking good!!

George

Hiya Bill, glad to see you are still alive and well. Come over to the "other" forum too, folks have been wondering where you disappeared to.
