D4e has been looking for a 2 yard scraper to pull with his D2 so he can play with Pops and I on upcoming play days. I came across this one but I think it's bigger than a 2 yard. Any of you guys able to identify the size?

Pops, we need to be safe working around micro equipment. Maybe we can rig up a beacon light on the D2 with some beach flages on each corner of the scraper so your hot rod 14A don't run him over 😆

I really can't mess with D4e to much since he's got the biggest, baddest trucks around 👍

Mike,

Look closely and you can see the Seabee emblem stenciled on the top of the bowl. Also note the faded olive drab paint. We had these in Viet Nam. They were part of the Seabee Team equipment group which could be helo'd into remote country. You can see the lifting eyes extending up from the back. They were used with International TD-6s. I ran a TD-6 a few times but never had the scraper hooked up so I do not know how well it handled it. In fact, I never saw one being used so more than likely, this unit is practically brand new. The other equipment that was part of this fleet was a small Allis Chalmers blade, International Dump Truck, IH platform truck and IH Rubbertired Backhoe. I maybe forgot something.

The one I sold at the Brooks auction last year was exactly like that one ,it had the Seabee name plates on it also. it was for a D4. Im looking for a 2 yard Murray for my D2s.

Testimonials

"I also joined a year ago. had been on here a couple of times as a non-member and found the info very helpful so I got a one year subscription (not very expensive at all) to try it out. I really like all the resources on here so I just got a three year. I think its a very small price for what you can get out of this site."
