I telephoned tonight (Sunday, July 5th) for a room at the Microtel Inn at Victor (exit 45 on the New York State Thruway). They still have rooms with one bed in them for the period of the show. No rooms with 2 beds over that weekend. If you need reservations, please call the motel direct at (585) 924-9240.

I will be arriving at that motel on Wednesday evening, and will be leaving the motel Sunday morning. I am flying into Buffalo, New York, on Southwest Air. Will arrive in Buffalo on Tuesday, stay there overnight, and drive into the show on Wednesday morning.

I hope to see a lot of you at the Canandaigua Show!

I was able to make reservations near the show grounds, but they were hard to find a month ago. I'm driving up Thursday and will be there until Sunday. It's only a month away!

Exit 45 on the Thruway is not so terribly far from Canandaigua - just a few miles. And on the way through town, there is an excellent restaurant, reasonably priced, where you can get breakfast or supper. Good food too. Fast service. I'll have my breakfast there each morning. GWH

I'm planning on being there with a 1952 D2 5U and a 1924 Holt 2 ton. Most likely will also have a 1946 IH W6 pulling tractor there as well for the antique tractor pulls. Would like to meet up with anyone coming to the show. Tim

Hey George, If you could somehow manage to fly into Rochester instead of Buffalo, you could cut off about 60 miles of driving. Looking forward to seeing you at the show, John

Southwest Air does not fly into Rochester. I can fly from Denver to Buffalo on the cheap. Also, I have family and friends south of Buffalo that I want to visit before going home. Olean (Allegany) and Franklinville. My family's hometown is Franklinville, Cattaraugus Co., New York. GWH
