Model 30 magneto key configuration

I was looking at the various 30's at Woodland and didn't really see a 'common' magneto key setup. Is there any way of really knowing the correct magneto key setup? ...or did they ever really have one? I have one of the 'early' 30's and was wondering if I should be looking for a particular setup or just use whatever looks best?
