Had this pipe fall off of my d25u. Looks like a spool piece or a pin of some shorts. Looks like such 10 pipe clean on outside dirty on inside. 5" long 13/16" diameter. No idea where it comes from or goes. Any ideas? Thanks.

perhaps a keeper pin on the main spring over the track frame---check yours to make sure there in.

If it's not one of the two main spring keepers, then also check the main engine air intake supports on the back of the pony

Neil, believe you got it with the intake stand-off.

If so, best be looking for the broken/ missing stud also.

Just measured the stand-offs from my 5U - 6 1/2" long, 3/4" dia., bolt is 7 1/2" long (3/8 UNC). Measured the bracket that the main spring keepers sit between and that's about 3" wide, so I'm scratching my head where your 5" part came from.

Does look like a track master pin and yes, early versions were hollow and used the tapered end plugs.

It might be just a metal bit that has nothing to do with your tractor except proximity.

Hit it with a file to see if it's hardened.

The pony crankcase breather is a 3/8" tube I believe and in place.

Not sure what it is about the main intake support. I have no support other than the pony exhaust pipes.

Haven't had a chance to look at all track pins but can't be the master. I've used the machine hard for several hours after finding part after I washed it.

I don't think it was rattling around. I just put the belly pan on and had it pretty well stripped down in the mean time.

It definitely came off the tractor. Laying right next to the tracks in the drive way and has a bit of yellow paint on it still.

I'll keep looking around on the machine. Figure it how sometime.

Thanks for the ideas. I'll check the tracks tonight before using it.
