Deas,
I couldn't stay and help. I had two choices: resign immediately or suffer the "embarrassment" of a vote of no confidence. I resigned.
My question about the minutes was because something was to be carried over to the Oct. 31 meeting and I wanted to see what action the board took.

Hello. lomaberndsen.
There was NEVER going to be a 'vote of no confidence' that meant anything from that group. There is a set protocol to follow for such actions and that group was not within a bull's bellow of following that protocol. which means that ANY decision that they might make will have ZERO legal standing. Quite a few of the people on that list are ex-BoD members and should have known that from the start.
Heck, I'm 'justa pore, dumm Australian bulldozer op'rator' and I know that.
That 'concerned members' farce was nothing more or less than an attempt at a coup with 'no guns and no ammo'. About the only thing that it has achieved is to divide the club.
And the REALLY sad aprt - some of those people were the very ones who DUG the hole that the club is in now - and they claim they have the ways and the means to fix it?????????????????????????????????
(Just so that you know, I FAILED the entrance exam to join the diplomatic corps.)
Just my 0.02.
