Good afternoon. I am the new editor of the ACMOC magazine and I am looking for stories and photos for the Then & Now section of the magazine.

If you have one or know of one, please let me know here or email me at [email protected].

Thank you.

Thank you for responding.

The deadline for submission of a story and photos would be Oct. 17. I realize that is not very far off and I apologize. I'm still getting acclimated to the ACMOC schedule.

I hope you are Bi-lingual or Tri-Lingual, us Aussies may speak the Queens English like you Yanks but I sometimes suspect we don't understand a word each of us has spoken!😆

One of our Aussie ratbag members "Wombat" is hosting the Corryong Historical Machinery Rally this wekend and I'm sure a story and photo's will come out of that as I heard there should be 30 or 40 old Cats on display, and a equal or even higher number of old Cat operators on display too, if they don't get snowed out, including some Bigwigs 1,000 miles north from the State of Queensland, with our Australian director Lance Jones leading the pack.

Mike, are you originally an Ocker or a Yank, because as a former Kiwi (insert gratuitous sheep jokes here...), I'm either missing the 1000 miles north of Queensland reference (Indonesia?) or you're meaning 1000 miles south, which would be Vic (the true Queen state : )
Cheers,
Neil

I'm a Aussie, but lived in California for 6 years and still farm there, and in New Zealand, out of Methven on the Canterbury Plain. When I said 1,000 miles north I was referring to Queensland being 1,000 miles north of me here in Victoria.

Testimonials

"I also joined a year ago. had been on here a couple of times as a non-member and found the info very helpful so I got a one year subscription (not very expensive at all) to try it out. I really like all the resources on here so I just got a three year. I think its a very small price for what you can get out of this site."
